Don’t miss the speakers for this upcoming YBR.  Thomas Obungen and Grant Shindo are both part of Frolic Hawaii’s team, and business owners of Slug Media.  As marketing and branding consultants, Thomas and Grant have continually shaped Hawaii’s foodie culture through digital online publishing and social media, helping businesses such as Agu a Ramen Bistro, The Brilliant Ox, and The Wedding Ring Shop, leave their mark.

Sushi Social

We are excited to partner with Shokudo Japanese Restaurant and Bar for our next membership event - Sushi Social! Attendees will have the opportunity to learn how to make sushi, enjoy food from the restaurant and mingle with other HJJCC members. The sushi class is limited to 20 members per day, so we will be offering 2 sessions. When: Sunday, October 6th, and Sunday, October 27th. Check in 2:45 PM, Sushi class 3-4 PM, Socialize 4-5 PM. Where: Shokudo Japanese Restaurant and Bar. Cost: $25 cash or check to HJJCC to be collected at the event. RSVP to Membership@hjjcc.com by September 25th

Our first membership mixer of the year was at Dave & Buster's Sport Lounge! Meet the 2019-2020 HJJCC Board of Directors. Test you knowledge of the HJJCC or learn more about the organization through HJJCC Trivia. Tuesday, September 3rd, Registration: 5:30 PM; Program: 6:00 PM, Dave & Buster's Sport Lounge (1st level), $20 HJJCC members, $30 guests . Heavy pupus, no host bar.
